Pacific Paradise

The Sunshine Coast’s next big thing.

Pacific Paradise is one of the original urban developments on what is now known as the Sunshine Coast. The initial phase of urbanisation began in the 1950s with the development of the David Low Way transversing the coast from south to north. By the 1980s the area had become a sought-after medium-density residential area, and in 1991 it was officially named Pacific Paradise. In recent years this sprawling coastal enclave has seen a revitalisation in line with the population growth of the Sunshine Coast with families as well as retirees looking for an affordable place to live within minutes of the Sunny Coast’s famous beaches.

Sport and recreation is a fixture in Pacific Paradise

Pacific Paradise caters for all walks of life and is developing a new and unique coastal persona. For families there are abundant recreational facilities, including a skate park and playground for small children and Mudjimba Beach is just a short stroll away. Sport is a fixture in the area with the Junior AFL club, the North Shore Jets situated next to the North Shore Community Centre off David Low Way and, if soccer is your game you can join the North Shore Football Club as a junior with spacious grounds located on nearby Nojoor Road.

It’s all here in Paradise

Situated in the heart of Pacific Paradise is the North Shore Shopping Village servicing Pacific Paradise, Mudjimba, Twin Waters and Marcoola. Here you’ll find a large Coles Supermarket, chemist, newsagency, post-office, bottle-shop, ladies clothing store, as well as Soul Foods Café, a sushi restaurant and kebab shop. Opening hours suit today’s busy lifestyles and there is plenty of parking in the centre.

In Pacific Paradise you’ll find varied and exciting eating and entertainment options, including Thai, Indian and Chinese restaurants, seafood, two take-away pizza outlets, Soul Foods, and in the adjacent North Shore Tavern, ‘Bistro in the Tavern’. ‘Bean There Done That’ Expresso Bar in neighbouring Tamari Street is popular for breakfast and lunch. Just across David Low Way is the North Shore Medical Centre offering a range of family-orientated medical services. And a recently relocated and expanded dental clinic ensure dental care is if the highest standard. You’ll also find my office on David Low Way.

Community focused

Pacific Paradise has two Pre-Schools and a Primary School. Catering for Prep to Year 6, the school offers excellent sporting activities as well as drama and dance classes, while the North Shore Community Centre offers an array of classes and workshops. Public transport north to Noosa or south to Maroochydore is well catered for with numerous bus-stops along David Low Way, while the new Sunshine Coast Airport is literally just minutes away.

Pacific Paradise is fast emerging, or should I say, re-emerging as the next big thing on the Sunshine Coast. It is an excellent area to consider purchasing to live or for an investment.
