Pacific Paradise caters for all walks of life.
For families there is a Skate Park on the corner of Boomba Street and Karome Street with a small playground for younger children.
Mudjimba Beach is also only a short stroll away down Mudjimba Beach Road.
The Junior AFL club (North Shore Jets) is situated next to the North Shore Community Centre off the David Low Way in Pacific Paradise.
If Soccer is your sport, you can also join the North Shore Football Club as a junior. This team is situated on Nojoor Road in the neighbouring suburb of Mudjimba.
Pacific Paradise is also known for its Bowls Club situated on Menzies Road across from the North Shore Shopping Complex.
North Shore Shopping Complex
This is the main shopping complex for the Maroochy North Shore area – Pacific Paradise, Marcoola, Mudjimba and Twin Waters. There you will find a barber, newsagency, chemist, bottleshop, ladies clothing store and post office, as well as business such as Coles, Gone Bonkers, and various food outlets such as the Soul Foods café. They are open long hours and there is plenty of parking available.
Across the road from the shopping complex you will find the North Shore Medical Centre, along with various other Medical facilities including Pathology.
In Pacific Paradise you have many eating options including Thai, Indian and Chinese restaurants. Soul Foods, Bistro in the Tavern, and Bean There Done That are popular breakfast and lunch options. For fast food, Pacific Paradise has two pizza options: Dominos and Pizza Capers.
Pacific Paradise State School caters for Prep to Year 6 and has approximately 600 students. There are many activities your children can be involved in at this school, including a very active sporting schedule throughout the year, where the children will be offered opportunities to represent their school. They will also have access to swimming lessons, drama and dance classes, including the biannual musical production.
Pacific Paradise has two pre-schools, Tadpoles located in the Shopping Complex and GoodStart located on Kowonga Street.
North Shore Community Centre
Situated in Pacific Paradise and available to the residents of the North Shore, the centre offers an array of classes and workshops.
If you require public transport, there are various bus stops scattered along the David Low Way for easy travel around the Sunshine Coast.
General Waste Bins are collected every Friday morning, most locals choosing to place them on the street the night before. Fortnightly, the recycling bin goes out with the general waste bin. Should you choose to have a green mulch bin, it is collected on alternative weeks.
Sunshine Coast Airport
Situated in Marcoola, right next to Pacific Paradise, you will find the Sunshine Coast Airport. It is the gateway to Sunshine Coast holiday destinations such as Noosa, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, and Caloundra. There are direct daily flights to Sydney and Melbourne as well as seasonal flights to Auckland.
Over the next few years we will see the airport transform into an International Airport.
In Pacific Paradise you will have the option of buying or renting standalone homes, duplexes and units. There is even the possibility of buying waterfront properties along Moomba Street.
